Terms and Conditions
UK delivery is free for purchases over £250, £8 for all other orders. Items will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is a fully tracked, insured and signed-for next day service.
International shipping is £40. Items will be sent using FedEx, which is a fully tracked and insured service requiring a signature upon delivery. The customer is responsible for any import taxes, handling and customs fees.
All items are designed and made in-house by Sarah, and are crafted using traditional techniques and hand tools. Each piece of jewellery has been carefully crafted by hand, and slight variances occur naturally as part of the making process. As such, each piece is entirely unique. Natural imperfections and marks from the making process are to be expected, adding to the unique character of the jewellery. The approximate sizes and dimensions on the product pages are as accurate as possible for these traditionally hand-crafted pieces. Images may not be actual size but will be a faithful representation of the jewellery.
Sarah Ruth Stanford Jewellery abides by the British Hallmarking Act 1973, and if required, jewellery is assayed and hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office. Expected order times are specified on the individual product pages. If you require your item by a particular date get in touch to confirm whether this will be possible. Sarah will do her best to meet any deadlines.
Each piece of jewellery is presented in a FSC certified gift box lined with natural calico. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification ensures that the wood, paper and other forest products that you're choosing are made with materials that support responsible forestry.
If you no longer wish to proceed with your purchase, orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours. Contact Sarah by email if you do not wish to proceed with your order.
I hope you will be delighted with your jewellery, however, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase I am happy to adjust or exchange your item. If this is the case please notify Sarah as soon as possible and return it within 14 days of receipt. Items must be returned in perfect condition and in original packaging. Sarah is not able to refund postage costs.
Exchanges are offered at Sarah's sole discretion.
Returns are at the customer's own risk, so when returning an item it is highly recommended that you use a secure, tracked and insured postal service. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
If you receive an item which is faulty or damaged please Sarah within 7 days and she will work to resolve the issue as soon as possible. If an item has been damaged by negligence Sarah will be happy to provide a repair quote.
Bespoke and custom orders, including items which have been specially commissioned, personalised, made-to-order or customised, are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
