Circle of Gold Ring

As a lover of stories, myths and folklore, I’ve long been entranced by the connection between a gold finger ring and a protective circle. To wear a ring can be to perform a kind of ritual - a vow, a marriage, a promise, a remembering or a forgetting, a plea, a surrender, a union. The ring encircles the body, and in the wearing, the intention is sealed.

This is a sweet and slender 9 carat band ring - a seamless circle of gold for the finger. Minimal and understated, with the texture of a relic worn smooth by time, it’s a more delicate sibling to my made-to-order Tryst ring.
