A silver ring inspired by medieval posey and amulet rings - jewellery that carried inscriptions and symbols close to the skin as markers of devotion, protection and personal truth.
Engravings of four-pointed stars glimmer around the circumference.
The four-pointed star, like the quatrefoil in gothic architecture and the four-leaf clover today, has been a potent good luck charm for centuries.
The four points of these stars symbolise balance, wholeness, totality and completion (think of the four points of the compass, the four elements, the four winds, the four quarters of the moon, the four rivers of Paradise, the four seasons…), and it can also represent the hermetic principle of ‘as within, so without’ - the law of correspondences, the macrocosm as a reflection of the microcosm. It’s rooted in spirituality, but it doesn’t have to be - it can simply be a reminder to seek balance in your own life: work and rest, giving and receiving, outward ambition and inner steadiness.
Sterling silver.
